Plans & billing

Your organization is on one of two self-serve plans, Free or Team. You change plans from the Subscription tab: open Organization in the side menu, choose Edit organization, then Subscription. Only people allowed to configure the organization can use it, which by default means the Admin permission set.

The Subscription card on the Organization page shows your plan and, for admins, how many seats are in use out of the seats you have. Behaview itself shows no prices; the per-seat price appears in the Stripe checkout.

Try Team free for 90 days

A new organization can try Team free for 90 days. On the Free plan, the Subscription tab reads “You are currently on the Free plan. Try Team free for 90 days.” and offers Start 90-Day Trial.

Starting the trial goes through the same checkout as buying: you choose how many seats you want and enter a card. The tab says nothing is charged until the trial ends. The trial gives you the seats you chose and an AI allowance larger than Free’s, so you can try it with your real team of supervisors and RBTs. Other limits, such as how many dashboards you can build, stay at the Free plan’s until the trial ends and you continue on Team.

1. On the Subscription tab, choose Start 90-Day Trial.

2. Choose your seats and enter your payment details in the checkout that opens. The checkout is a Stripe page: Stripe is our payment processor, so card details go straight to Stripe and are never stored by Behaview.

3. You return to the Subscription tab, which shows “Confirming your payment. This usually takes a few seconds.” and then the date your trial ends.

When the trial ends, the card is charged for the seats you chose and the organization continues on Team.

To stop before then, open Manage billing and cancel. You keep Team until the trial end date and are not charged. After that the organization returns to the Free plan, and people beyond the Free limit are disabled (see Cancelling, below). The Subscription tab keeps showing the trial end date until then; Manage billing shows the cancellation.

The trial is available once per organization. Checkout always includes the trial while it is still available, so you cannot skip it and pay straight away.

Upgrade to Team

Once your organization has used its trial, the Free plan’s Subscription tab offers Upgrade to Team instead.

1. On the Subscription tab, choose Upgrade to Team.

2. Enter your payment details in the Stripe checkout that opens.

3. Once the payment goes through, the tab confirms your plan and shows the renewal date. This usually takes a few seconds.

Team is billed per seat, per month. A seat is taken by an active person in your organization, owners and admins included. People you have disabled do not take a seat, and neither do people you added with Invite to Behaview turned off, such as Clients you track without inviting.

The checkout starts at five seats, or at the number of people already taking a seat if that is more, and does not go below that. You can add seats there, up to 100, and change the number later in Manage billing.

Add a seat

You buy seats through Manage billing, which opens the Stripe customer portal. Add seats there and the new limit applies in Behaview within a few seconds.

If the Staff page shows that you are at your organization’s user limit during a trial or on Team, people who can configure the organization see an Add a seat button there, which opens the same portal. Otherwise the message links to the Organization page.

Added seats are invoiced straight away, prorated for the rest of the month. During a trial, nothing is charged until it ends. Removing seats takes effect at the end of the billing period, with no refund for the current one.

Manage billing

During a trial and on the Team plan, Manage billing opens the Stripe customer portal, where you manage your payment details, your billing address and tax details, your invoices, the number of seats, and the subscription itself. You return to Behaview’s Subscription tab when you are finished.

Cancelling

Cancelling keeps Team access until the end of the period you have already paid for, or until the end of your trial if you are still in one. After that the organization returns to the Free plan. The owner stays active, and so do the earliest-added other people up to the Free limit; everyone else is disabled, including people added without an invite, such as Clients. Nobody is deleted: after upgrading again, an admin can re-enable them.

If a payment fails

A failed payment does not cut off access straight away: your organization stays on Team while Stripe retries the charge. Update the card in Manage billing so the retry succeeds. If the payment is never collected and the subscription ends, the organization returns to the Free plan as it does after cancelling.
