What is Behaview?
Behaview is a supervision and staff-training platform for applied behavior analysis (ABA) organizations. It keeps supervision hours, skills, and growth in one place: BCBAs plan and run supervision as Session Plans, score what they observe against the BACB task lists, and see each trainee’s fieldwork month take shape as they go.
Simpler ABA supervisions.
The BACB sets monthly supervision requirements for RBTs and BCaBAs, and for trainees accruing fieldwork hours toward BCBA or BCaBA certification, and that supervision has to be documented. For a BCBA, much of this work is unbillable, and it is hard to do consistently from paper and spreadsheets. Behaview is the system that keeps it consistent.
What Behaview does
Section titled “What Behaview does”- Set expectations for each role: import the BACB task lists from the Skills Library, or write your own skills, and assign them to roles such as RBT, BCaBA, and BCBA, so every supervisee knows the standard. See Skills overview and BACB task lists.
- Supervise in session: run Session Plans in the clinic, at home, at school, or over video. Score skills as you watch, keep private Supervisor Notes and shared Observation Notes, and collect both signatures when the session is done. See Session Plans overview.
- Supervise from a recording: attach a session video to a Session Plan and comment on the exact moments that matter. See Files & media.
- Track BACB requirements: the BACB Fieldwork Report checks each trainee’s month against BACB’s fieldwork requirements, and the BACB Ongoing Supervision Report does the same for RBTs and BCaBAs.
- See progress: each person’s profile shows where they stand on every skill, and reports show the same across roles and teams.
- Let AI do the legwork: staff practice their skills with AI coaching between sessions, and you can connect your AI assistant to take notes, record observations, and prep sessions for you.
Who Behaview is for
Section titled “Who Behaview is for”- BCBAs and clinical directors who supervise RBTs, BCaBAs, and trainees, and need that supervision documented.
- Supervisees: RBTs, Behavior Technicians, BCaBAs, and trainees accruing fieldwork hours, who see their own skills and progress and log their own independent hours.
- Clinic and agency admins who manage staff, permissions, and the organization’s setup.
How Behaview compares
Section titled “How Behaview compares”Behaview focuses on supervision and the skills it builds. Here is how it compares with the tools ABA organizations often run supervision from:
| Instead of… | Which gives you… | Behaview gives you… |
|---|---|---|
| Paper forms and binders | Supervision forms filled in by hand, signed, filed, and added up at month end | Session Plans recorded on any device and signed on screen, with each month’s hours checked against BACB’s requirements as you go |
| Spreadsheets | Hour logs and task-list trackers kept by hand, one file per trainee | One record, where every completed BACB Session Plan counts toward the fieldwork report and every observation joins that person’s skill history |
| A practice-management system | Scheduling, billing, and client session data | The supervision and staff-training layer on top: task-list competency, supervision evidence, and the BACB fieldwork and ongoing-supervision reports |
Where your data lives
Section titled “Where your data lives”Behaview runs in two separate regions, Canada and the United States, each with its own sign-in and database, and you choose the region when you sign in. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and each person sees only what their role and permissions allow.
