Practice with AI coaches
Development should not stall between supervisions. With AI Coaching, an RBT can rehearse how they would run a preference assessment, test their understanding of measurement procedures, or a trainee can work through BCBA Test Content Outline items, privately and at their own pace. The time later spent with their supervisor then goes to what practice alone cannot fix.
How a person uses it
Section titled “How a person uses it”They open Coach Me from the menu, tick the skills they want under Select Skills to Coach (their own skills under My skills, or All skills), and select Start Coaching. It is one conversation: the AI coach teaches the skill, gives examples, role-plays, and answers questions, while forming a view of where the person stands. It works from your organization’s own skills, playbooks and context, so an RBT practicing 11. Prompting is coached against your description of it, not a generic one.
Give your skills an AI coach
Section titled “Give your skills an AI coach”Each skill can name the AI coach that runs its practice, chosen in the skill’s AI Coach field. Your organization starts with no AI coaches, so create one under AI Coaches in the Manage menu, for example a BCBA persona that knows your treatment model and how you expect session notes to read, then set it on the skills it should coach. A skill with no AI coach is still coached, from the skill itself.
Bring the results into supervision
Section titled “Bring the results into supervision”When the person has covered a skill well, the coach offers a short summary and asks whether to save it to their profile. Saved results appear in the AI column on their profile; nothing is recorded unless they choose to save it.
The person arrives at supervision having already practiced and assessed themselves, so you spend the session on what is left. Use their AI results as the starting point, then observe the skill with a Client to see whether it holds up in session.
AI practice results do not count toward mastery. For how they sit alongside supervisor scores and self-assessments, see Calculating mastery.
