How can I add users without giving them access yet?

Section titled “How can I add users without giving them access yet?”

Add them as placeholder users: when you add a person, turn off Invite to Behaview. They exist in Behaview (assignable to roles, ready for notes and observations) but get no sign-in and no email. It’s the way to set up your organization before inviting anyone, or to keep records for someone you don’t intend to give access. See Adding & managing people.

How can I use Claude or ChatGPT with Behaview?

Connect them over MCP: add Behaview’s MCP server to your AI tool and sign in. See Connect your AI (MCP). Once connected, you can perform almost any operation in Behaview straight from the AI, in plain conversation. Behaview’s MCP surfaces the right guided workflows, so the AI follows the steps that lead to success. This makes it a great way to brainstorm and set up your organization.

Where can I see a trainee’s fieldwork hours?

Section titled “Where can I see a trainee’s fieldwork hours?”

Open Reports and, under ABA & BACB Reports, choose BACB Fieldwork Requirements. Summary shows each trainee’s counted hours toward BACB’s totals, and Monthly breakdown checks each month against BACB’s fieldwork requirements and lists the Session Plans to fix. See BACB Fieldwork Report.

A trainee can see their own Session Plans and months, and download them, in BACB Records.

Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar and choose What’s new. It lists what changed each month as a timeline, newest first, with a dot beside anything you haven’t seen. When something has shipped since you last opened it, a megaphone appears on your avatar and the menu item is marked New. If the sidebar is hidden, as on a phone, a dot on the menu button shows the same thing. Opening What’s new clears both.

If you are an admin, open a placeholder user’s profile and choose Impersonate from the Manage menu to view Behaview exactly as someone in that role would, such as an RBT: a faithful preview of their navigation, permissions, and data. It is offered only on an enabled placeholder user that isn’t you. See Impersonating users.
